College Admission Essay
Knowing someone like me is so awesome because something interesting about me is
I’m the only human in this world with this name. I am originally from Riverdale,
Georgia, and I have been living down here for 18 years. I am looking forward to attend
this college, because my goal is to study these subjects that will be taught in the future
and to become a respected, successful professional in one of the fields. Moreover, I am a
sociable person, have many friends since I like communicating with people and get to
know new interesting individuals. I really enjoy my time at school it is really nice to
study and sometimes students are very friendly and ready to help. When receive and
dealing with challenging tasks I am very enthusiastic student and I know this is a strong
point of me. And I strive for perfecting in things, to get to where I want to be.
It is amazing how our social environment plays such a great role in every individual
person’s development. As I look back at all joyful times I have had in my life I just smile
about it. I am grateful that I was supplied with everything that was needed. Every
decision I choose to make in life eventually changed a person future. While one person
can never be sure, I am confident that the people around me for example. My family ,
teachers, and my friends have definitely influences my life in an opposite matter. If I
didn’t have them I would not be getting anywhere in life. It is most important to always
make sure someone will be there for you no matter what, I am not saying to depend on
those people, but just make sure he or she is going in that same direction.
My mother is currently working at a warehouse, which has all the supplies for a
hospital. As a kid, I find that interesting because she is basically helping people and that
is something I would love to do. She has been working there for 12 years, which is a long

time. What she always told me about staying at a job for a long time is good benefits.
Now, that is what you call a job, her health insurance and everything is being took care of
for being there a long period of time. Another, interesting fact is she will able to get her
401k money out if she has any problems, and if she retires she will be getting paid. One
thing I never forgot about that she told me was to go to college I want you to go for
something you can live off of to take care of yourself, so what I did was kept that in
mind.
A person I will always remember is my grandmother, because she is the most
amazing person I have ever known. Mostly, everyone wanted to be around her she always
put a smile on our face without even trying. When, she laughed it was so hilarious and
was always telling jokes, which was why we stayed laughing. My grandma would put
anyone before her no matter what the situation was even if it was out her way she would
be there to help us. My grandma is definitely like my best friend I can talk to her about
anything, and she knows exactly how to solve my problems. She also make the best
dressing and banana pudding, I always was ready to walk in her home every
Thanksgiving smelling all warm foods she had waiting for us. At the end of the day she
as well raised to me to be a civilized person, I will always look at her as a strong, loving,
caring, and funny woman. I know that everyone who met her will cherish her forever.
Now, see something about me is I love helping everyone especially my elders. A
saying that was always talked about was “Do unto others, as you would undo you” the
more I gave people that helping hand, I then began to gain a lot of needy things. A
couple years ago, a friend of mine was really going through something at home, she only
lived with her mother. So I asked my mother if she could spend the weekend here, and

she said yes she can. When, the weekend was over I asked her do she feel safe going back
home and she sad yes. On that, Monday, a school day she came beating on my door, that
afternoon with scratches on her face, at that moment I knew she was being abused so I
asked her do she have anyone to call to come pick her up, and she does her dad can come
get her, so eventually her dad came to get her and she was safe.
When I use to live in apartments my mom would always communicate with the rent
people in the office. Out of spite, I stopped by the office everyday to say “Hello”. I
walked home to drop my book bag off, went back and asked them could volunteer in any
activity that was put together; they told me they have a fundraiser, which was to sell the
most cookies so they could purchase new equipment for the fitness center. The reward for
anyone that lived in the apartment for whoever sold the most cookies would win a bike. I
ended u selling $400 worth of cookies returned the money and they were very impressed.
At the end f the day I won the bike and just gave it to my brother. Most of the time I just
volunteer for the fun of it, this makes me feel like a good person.
My curiosity is a great result of my early childhood experiences, which have fueled
my passion for learning inside and out a classroom. I learn from everything I do mistakes
or not, it helps me grow more. I will keep continuing to apply for anything during my
lifetime. My mom has really taught me to be an independent, brave woman providing
opportunities to learn from my mistakes when I make them. I am happy that my mom
raised me; my dad was not really around me like that. That good news is, I made it and I
became an very awesome individual. You can call me the business girl, because I am all
about it going through steps to get the next one to strive for excellence.

During, elementary all the way to middle school I was in band. The first instrument I
played was a flute that was the most challenging instrument ever to play. Eventually, I
changed and asked for a clarinet and sticked with that particular instrument for a while.
As a group of band players, we played at every pep rally, and made progress very well.
That experience for me was just amazing and joyful and I support any band, it rocks. If I
could go back in time and reverse everything. I would be learning how to play every
instrument on earth, because I really love music.
