Survey results concerning employers planning to recruit IT professionals in 2009 are as follows: - 37.5% of employers stated they were anticipating to recruit. - All employers stated they wouldn’t stop investing in IT-related projects. For those companies not recruiting, the main reasons are: - They have enough IT employees (55.2%) - They have not enough budget (6.9%) - They are cutting back their IT related projects due to the financial situation (6.9%) - They have just finished hiring (3.4%)

10. Future Challenges for the IT Recruitment Market Even if the IT recruitment market is showing positive signs for stability and growth, efforts have to be made to strengthen the sector.
