• As our thriller is more of an independent film rather than being a
commercially mainstream film because of the story and the
setting which takes place in the London. The audience for our
media product is aimed at the young teens to adult teens, British
film lovers who enjoy getting the thrill from films.
• This is appropriate because our film is a thriller/horror which takes place in the London area is
relatable to the audience and plunges them into the action giving them a different perspective
to the horror experience. It also makes the audience view their lives and their daily experience
in a different light.
• Similarly to our final media product which is relatable to their target audience is the teen
horror movie Scream. Their target audience was also young adult thrill seekers; the film which
was set in the protagonist’s high school was relatable to the young teen audience. Screams
official film rating was 18 however parents believe that the age of the film should be 14.
