2. The old water-wheel
turns round and round
outside the wall.

3. It seems to be idle
work that it is doing.

4. You see nothing
accomplished.

5. But its shaft runs through the
mill wall and turns a great
system of machinery there, and
makes bread to feed many a
hungry mouth.

6. So we toil away, many of us, and ofttimes see
no rewards or fruits.

7. But, if we are true to
God, we are making
results somewhere for
His glory and the good
of others.

8. The shaft runs through into the
unseen and turns wheels there,
preparing blessings and food for
hungry lives.

9. No true work for Christ can
ever fail.

10. Some where, some
time, some how, there
will be results.

11. We need not be
discouraged or
disheartened.

12. For, in due time, we
shall reap if we faint not.

13. But, what if we faint?
