Podcasting began in 2000 when Dave Winer created a way to enclose audio files in RSS feeds. It grew popular through 2004 and 2005, with the Oxford Dictionary naming "podcast" the word of the year in 2005. The website will either give you the URL which you will past into your “podcatcher.” Or, you can right click on the podcast link and select, “copy link location”, then past that URL in the catcher.
