Steven Rubin has been recognized within the travel industry as a leading
expert in revenue, known for his innovative, strategic approach. As a
Vice-President and General Manager at Travelzoo, Steven developed
the brand’s online hotel booking tool—leading the product team and
establishing key alliances with distribution channels, hotels, and marketing
partners. Steven built the revenue and sales culture at YOTEL while more
than doubling the direct website bookings as the Commercial Director.
At Kimpton Hotels, Steven oversaw the strategic development for eight
hotel openings in six different cities. As a senior leader he helped create
the Kimpton revenue, distribution, and online marketing culture.
Throughout his career, Steven has been commited to growing future
leaders in the hospitality industry. He is an active member of HSMAI
and HEDNA, and speaks at industry events. Steven is also an Adjunct
Professor of Strategic Pricing and Revenue Management at NYU.
Recently, Steven became an nVoy expert for the online travel and
hospitality sector at Future Foundation, a global consumer trend firm.
A believer in test-driving the wisdom of the ages, Steven immerses himself
in scientific research and popular culture lessons about how to be happier.
And it’s working—happily married and well traveled, Steven is also an
elated new dad. He received a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Management
from Washington State University, and a Certificate in Marketing
Management from NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Christophe Sabineu is a recognized Revenue Management expert
and entrepreneur. Originally from France, he started his career in
hotels operations and marketing. His successive endeavors led to
immerse himself in different cultures and work for a wide range of
hotels in Asia, Europe and the USA. With a focus on education and
data-driven decisions, Christophe has been a leader at implementing
new methodologies and tools at companies such as Accor Group,
Denihan Hospitality and Kimpton Hotels.
A believer in new technologies to help us make better decision, Christophe
was a founding partner at Revinate Inc. Revinate is the world-wide
leader for Online Reputation and Guest Intelligence for Hotels and
Restaurants. In charge of Data Operations, he contributed to the rapid
growth of the company to ��,���+ hotel clients and over ��� employees
across 8 offices worldwide. Customers included Hilton, Intercontinental
Hotels, Four Seasons, Jumeirah, Peninsula, Banyan Trees and others.
Christophe graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences
Commerciales d’Angers (ESSCA) and received a Master degree in
Hotel Revenue Optimization from the Faculté d’Angers. Passionate
about big data and continual growth, he is currently enrolled in
the Data Science program from John Hopkins University. During
his down time, Christophe can be found windsurfing or stand up
paddling down the coast of Northern California.

miriam gross partner
Miriam Gross brings a decade of experience in digital marketing for
destination hotels and small to mid-size brands. After starting her
career in Food & Beverage operations, Miriam migrated to hospitality
digital marketing agency TIG Global (now Micros E-Commerce)
where she oversaw digital programs for destination properties and
urban independents throughout North America. Following that, she
was a founding member of the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurant field
marketing team based at their home office in San Francisco, overseeing
the Northern California portfolio and national paid marketing efforts.
Most recently, Miriam worked at HeBS Digital, overseeing strategic
account teams in New York and Las Vegas, where she helped growing
brand Red Lion Hotels earn a number of awards including a Silver
Adrian Award. Miriam’s mastery of the full digital marketing landscape
and focus on making data-driven decisions has made her a well-respected
player in the hospitality industry. Miriam holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Hospitality Administration with a concentration in Strategic Marketing
from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
