A component moisture curing polyurethane primer.
GENERAL CHARACTHERISTICS
For impregnating and varnishing of concrete, asbestos cement and othermineral floors. Varnish-Gloss is dust binding
and prevents impurities from being absorbedinto the surface. Coverage on concrete floors is on the average 4 - 7
m2/l. Practical coverage depends on the porosity of the substrate and on the applicationmethod.
USAGE AREA
Withstands well abrasion, chemical stress and immersion in water.
SURFACE PREPARATION
New concrete
Remove laitance by power grinding or hydrochloric acid etching. Choose the method bestsuited for the premises.
After grinding remove dust carefully with a vacuum cleaner.Hydrochloric acid etching is carried out with diluted
hydrochloric acid (1 part concentratedhydrochloric acid, 4 parts water). Rinse with plenty of water and let the floor
dry.
Old concrete
Remove all grease, oil, chemicals and other impurities by FONTECLEAN AL detergent.Remove old peeling paint
layer by grinding. Clean out pot-holes removing all loose friablematerial. Open cracks with e.g. an abrasive tool.
Remove loose material and dust.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
Application Equipments
By brush or roller.
Method
The relative humidity of the concrete should not exceed 97 %. The temperature of the ambientair, surface or coating
should not fall below + 5 ºC during either application or drying. Relativehumidity of air should be 50 - 90 %.

COLORING (TINTING)
Patch pot-holes and cracks with a mixture of epoxy varnish and dry, cleansand of grain size 0.1 - 0.6
mm. Prepare the filler by adding a sufficient amount of sand intothe varnish. Grind the patched areas
before overcoating.
STORAGE
Shel life Not less than 2 years in original tightly closed cans away from direct sunlight and excessive
heat.
The can should be resealed and stored tightly closed to prevent evaporation of the product
and air entry. Store it upside down after use
Storage Conditions +5 C / +35 C
