Who am I? 
- Laurent Janssens 
Owner of Sustain-IT, which aims to provide advices on green IT/IT sustainability, from 
strategic planning to implementation and on assessments at all stages of the 
process in between. 
Previously, 8 years as management consultant/interim Manager advising clients, in 
different sectors, on IT governance, portfolio management, project management, project 
coaching & process improvement. 
These consultancy assignments benefited from his experience in IT management, 
Project management, security management and Audit (ICT, Operational, Financial). 
As background, mechanical engineer (Ir). He obtained his CISA in 1999 after a Master In 
Computer Audit granted from UAMS. He regularly participates on PMI events

PRiSM™ (Projects integrating Sustainable 
Methods) is the sustainability based 
project delivery method which 
incorporates tangible tools and methods 
to manage the balance between finite 
resources, social responsibility, and 
delivering “green” project outcomes. 
It answer to the question : "How do I apply 
sustainability to my projects?” 
PRiSM establishes a framework of 
considerations derived from ISO 21500,

  • 3. 3 Who am I? - Laurent Janssens Owner of Sustain-IT, which aims to provide advices on green IT/IT sustainability, from strategic planning to implementation and on assessments at all stages of the process in between. Previously, 8 years as management consultant/interim Manager advising clients, in different sectors, on IT governance, portfolio management, project management, project coaching & process improvement. These consultancy assignments benefited from his experience in IT management, Project management, security management and Audit (ICT, Operational, Financial). As background, mechanical engineer (Ir). A framework to perform Sustainable Project Management ? 13 PRiSM™ (Projects integrating Sustainable Methods) is the sustainability based project delivery method which incorporates tangible tools and methods to manage the balance between finite resources, social responsibility, and delivering “green” project outcomes. It answer to the question : "How do I apply sustainability to my projects?” PRiSM establishes a framework of considerations derived from ISO 21500, ISO 14001, ISO 26000, ISO 50001 and ISO 9001 (Extracts from PRISM)

Construction Key Performance Indicators Financial •Return on Investment: ROI •Business Agility: number of days to resolve upcoming squatting, weeds, pests, unsafe buildings, graffiti Key Performance Indicators Products •Servicing of Product: Satisfaction Survey Results (surveys carried out be independent agency) •Lifespan of Product: The Enforcement Agency should have 60% Community Satisfaction Key Performance Indicators Processes •Maturity of process: Maturity of the EMS: Plan-Do-check-Act •Maturity Efficiency and fairness of process: number of corrective actions and its financial impact Key Performance Indicators Personal •Labour Practices and Decent Work: Number of labor accidents and amount of money incurred •Society and Customers: Number of children received training course regarding Sustainability. •Ethical Behaviour: implement “Sustainability Awards” at school, restaurants, event organizer, etc.
