As an Entrepreneur, you’ll get questions about your business all the time – from friends to investors.
Your answers – and how you answer them – say a lot about you as a leader, and you need to easily
be able to respond with conviction, confidence and brevity.
Practice your answers. Say them out loud. Practice in front of a mirror. Think of them as job
Interview questions – ones that can be asked by anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Here are the 7 questions you need to absolutely nail.
For each, example answers have been included for our growing company Global TechnoPartners
1. What does your company do?
This is your elevator pitch. Explain not only what your company does but also why someone should
use it.
GTP: This is to introduce ourselves as Global TechnoPartners L.L.P, a Global Software Development
Company, ensuring our brand breaks through the digital clutter and resonate with end users across
multiple technology platforms. We offer off-shore/near-shore/new-shore outsourcing solutions to our
customers in more than 12 countries across 3 continents. We help our customer’s business growth
with our high technical expertise & flexible solutions, with optimized costs & real time efficiency in
timely deliverables.
Over the years of work experience of the peers, WE have been helping our clients meet their unique
business and technology needs. Our technology expertise in outsourcing software
development includes developing and designing web application products using complete web
software development lifecycle, from requirements definition, through design and application
development, to testing, maintenance and support.
2. How is it going?
You should always project optimism – even if you’ve just had the worst day ever. Combine that
positive attitude with some hard facts to hit your point home.
GTP: We’re growing like a weed. We have just crossed 100,000 unique visitors last month. We’re
killing it!
3. How many people are at your company?
People tend to be really curious about the size of your company. To project greatness, include both
full-time employees and contractors. I also like to use my response to this question to highlight good
news and ask for help.

GTP: 70 – it’s the most passionate team I’ve ever worked with. We’re looking to hire a front end

4. Do you have funding?
How much you’ve raised and who you raised it from is a yardstick of your success. If you haven’t
raised much, focus on the future.
GTP: We are a self-funded company. We have all we need for now. We a have positive cash flow
coming into our organisation. So, our customers know who they are talking to and doing business
with.
5. Why should I use you vs. the other guy?
This is the competitive differentiation question – and it should be a slam dunk.
GTP: On Google and other local search engines, you’ll see hundreds of reviews for software
Development Company, but it’s hard to tell if a review is from a retiree in Iceland or a 20-year-old in
Vegas. We’ll show you review from people like you, so you can make more informed decisions. Give
it a spin for your next project – I think you’ll like the spice of working together with GTP’s Team. Unlike
the legacy Software Development Companies, we built our company from the ground-up for mobile so
our delivery makes customer delights are a lot easier and more sleek and fun to work with. Not to

6. How did you get the idea?
The inspiration for the company should have a personal element to it, while also describing the
problem you wanted to solve.
GTP: The founders love to travel & Explore, and the combined work experience in IT|ITes|Media
companies rose to almost 30yrs, so we combined those interests into a business that helps
customers to save some dollars on a company with the best industry practices.
7. What’s next with GTP?
 Vision is to take GTP to the world with its multi-platform IT | ITES Offerings, spear headed by
in-house Technology Rock stars.
 Capitalize on the growth of Technology Usage in Northern America / Europe / Asia / Australia
in specific & the world at large.
 Ensure preparedness for the surge in Technology usage on mobile devices & cash in on the
huge increase in smart Phone Penetration.
 Create tangible & monitisable savings to our customers not limited to any industry verticals.
 Provide customers & myself a multi bagger ROI in the shortest possible time.
