#1 Content: The King
Theme of Your Videos: The theme of your videos should be relevant
to your channel’s focus. Vet if people would see your video topics or
not. Do that through keyword research, if it is a search focused
content or find similar shared content on Social Media for Social
media focused videos. Then, develop the content around that theme.
Write a script before making the videos: Always write a script and
make the structure for your video before thinking to record one
second of the video. Imagine how you want your end product to look.
The most important thing of your videos for which viewers come see
your videos & channel is the content. If your content is not relevant to
what people are looking for, then the rest of the things mentioned in this
slide cannot help you. Firstly work on the following factors for your
content:
Keep it simple: Don’t talk about random stuff in your video. Come to
the point directly for which a viewer is watching your videos.
Use keywords in your video content: YouTube Search &
Recommendation engines are well developed. They can analyze the
content of your videos. So, use keywords in the videos to rank high
on YouTube.
Campaign: You can also run a series of videos around a common
topic for one whole week. Like we have created a YouTube Marketing
Strategy where every week, we talk about one part of YouTube
Marketing every week.
#2 SEO: Search Engine Optimization
A relevant Title - Don’t put some random words in your title just to
attract people, put the title which is best suitable with your content
in the video.
Search for YouTube Keywords on Moz or Ahrefs - See what your
competitors are using; Prefer at least 100 monthly searched
keywords.
A tiny abbreviation that makes a huge impact on your videos'
visibility. Here are the things you need to keep in mind while
making your videos "Search Engine Optimized":  
Maximum 60 characters - Use a combination of Primary +
Secondary Keyword with a Hooks in the Title.
Use right keywords in Description - As you have decided your
keyword, write that keyword or closely related keyword in your
description. Use those keywords in many sentences by making
sense out of it. 
Add closed captions in your videos if needed: This will help you to
attract people who are not comfortable with your language in the
video.
Structure your content to make logical sense: Give priority to

your channel or pay a visit to your website.

Overlay Background Image with Text: Place branding and

seem special. Choose the right colors for the text so that people can
read your text easily.
Make your brand recognizable: Add something in your thumbnails

appear that you are telling some kind of story. It should be in proper
order like stories so that they can connect everything which you are
saying.
Make it a little bit entertaining to keep your viewers engaged into
the video like say something funny in between of your video, put
some funny but relatable images/GIFs, etc.
#5 A killer video description: makes viewers stick!
Keep it short and crisp: Don’t flood your description area with some non-useful
content which will eventually make it difficult for your viewers to understand the
motive of your video.
Use relevant keywords: Based on your research, you have picked up your
keyword. Now, use that keyword in your video very frequently but it should also
make sense. Don’t just write the keyword repeatedly without making sense.
YouTube moderation engines will notice this and that will be not good for your
video.
Focus on starting 100 characters as that is the mind changing part. Make sure
you mention your relevant keywords in that part. Keep it crispy and attractive
and relevant.
Making a great video is not enough. You also have to keep an attractive
description as many people decide based on your description whether to
go ahead and watch your video or not. Some advice for description:

your hashtags may lead to an age-restriction or removal of
your video.
#7 Organize your videos into playlists
The playlist feature is mainly for those who uploads educational
videos, Vines, tutorials on a topic like how to learn python, FAQ
videos, product feature and highlight different features in each
video, testimonial videos to send to potential customers by a
brand, running some kind of campaign like campaign on movies’
reviews.
Include sufficient number of videos in your playlist so that viewers
don’t go on any other channel for seeking the information.
When you make a Playlist on YouTube, videos automatically begin
to play in a meaningful sequence.
An organized playlist takes care of the fact that viewers don't
get distracted.
YouTube allows creators to link related videos at the end of the
video which will help you increase the watch time and make
viewers engage in your content.
While creating the playlist, keep your best videos at first.
#8 Make Influencers an integral part of your Strategy for
YouTube Marketing

YouTube fans look up to influencers and draw
motivation from them. But if it is a paid
partnership then it will not be much useful to you.
Therefore, get only those influencers on-board

category in the advanced settings. Choose the category which
best suits your video which will help your target audience to locate
your videos easily thus leading to an increase in views of your
video.
As I have mentioned this for the hashtags section also, don’t try to
mislead viewers. Choose only that category which is best fit for
your content.
#9 Keep consistency in uploading videos
Don’t run away for so long after posting some 1 or 2
videos. It is very necessary to upload content with
consistency to build your channel and make your
viewers/subscribers stick to your channel.
If you stay out of this for a long time, it can happen
that someone else can take your position and then it
will become difficult for you to regain your earlier
position.
#10 Monitor your videos performance to improve
your videos every time you upload new videos.
You should monitor your videos’ performance like how
many views you are getting, how many impressions you
are getting, where viewers are losing their interest in
your videos. All these things on looking carefully, will
help you to design the strategy for further videos.
#11 Replying on comments
Reply on comments posted by your viewers. It will help
you in connecting with them, getting the feedback and
improving yourself to make better videos in future.
Viewers also feel glad when you take their feedback
sincerely.
#12 Monitor your competitors, how they
are posting their videos.
Watch on their keywords use: Analyze on which
keywords they are ranking above you. If you can
exceed them then try for those keywords, otherwise
look for some alternate keyword on which they are
ranking low and you have a chance to rank high.
You should also keep an eye always on what your
competitors are doing so that you can have a benchmark
for your work. You can get ideas on how to do things or
improve yourself so that viewers will come on your video. 
Content Creation: Look at the content of their videos
and see how you can improve and can rank higher
than them. Try to make more useful content for the
viewers as this is why viewers are watching your
video.
Closely keep a look on their strategy: Always watch
out what they are doing and does that bringing them
more views or not. Like if they are taking the help of
some influencers or are running campaigns on their
YouTube channel.

  • 4. Theme of Your Videos: The theme of your videos should be relevant to your channel’s focus. Vet if people would see your video topics or not. Do that through keyword research, if it is a search focused content or find similar shared content on Social Media for Social media focused videos. Then, develop the content around that theme. Write a script before making the videos: Always write a script and make the structure for your video before thinking to record one second of the video. Imagine how you want your end product to look. The most important thing of your videos for which viewers come see your videos & channel is the content. If your content is not relevant to what people are looking for, then the rest of the things mentioned in this slide cannot help you. Firstly work on the following factors for your content:

You can get ideas on how to do things or improve yourself so that viewers will come on your video.
