1. HOPE UNLEASHED

If you're reading this...Congratulations, you're alive. If that's not something to smile about, then I don't
know what is. There are people somewhere who had great plans and expectations for the day but
unfortunately they didn’t live to see the sun rise but God has given you another day to witness, fathom
and rejoice in His wonders. You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always
be able to solve all of the world's problems at once but don't ever underestimate the importance
you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on
a life of its own.
They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to
do, and something to hope for. If you do not have anything else but hope, that is already a great
possession because it is hope that keeps us going.
One of my great motivation is the large morning and evening star which always reminds me that I have to
Arise and Shine and be the light to the society. I like the night. Without the dark, we'd never see the stars.
JOB14:7, “"At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will
not fail.”
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present. So
you better forget the bad things that happened yesterday and rejoice that you have a day to change,
improve or even to start all over again.

Sometimes you have to loose touch of self and defeat yourself. The greatest person on earth is the one
who has conquered himself. You cannot swim for new horizons until you have courage to lose sight of
the shore. One of the greatest way to search fulfillment, to get the essence of living and to enjoy life is by
making other people happy. One of the Reason why I started Makinika Afrika International
(www.makinikaafrika.org) is to create opportunity for people to volunteer, empower other people and
have an opportunity in life to serve mankind which has a great fulfillment and reward. The things you do
for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.
The very least you can do in your life is figure out what you hope for. And the most you can do is live
inside that hope. Not admire it from a distance but live right in it, under its roof. Also share a glimpse of
hope to other people for hope is contagious. Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it,
casts the shadow of our burden behind us.
The last thing that you should never think of loosing is hope. When all seems not to work your way and
feels like a failure or unachieved. In a time of destruction, create something.

2. Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe
that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.
There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of
something tomorrow.

I have come to accept the feeling of not knowing where I am going. And I have trained myself to love it.
Because it is only when we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight, that we force our wings to
unravel and alas begin our flight. And as we fly, we still may not know where we are going to. But the
miracle is in the unfolding of the wings. You may not know where you're going, but you know that so
long as you spread your wings, the winds will carry you. There is a wind of hope, faith, believing in your
self and dreaming big that will always land you to great places.
A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to
glorious success.
You can make positive deposits in your own economy every day by reading and listening to
powerful, positive, life-changing content and by associating with encouraging and hope-building
people.
