Perform all technical writing duties for AFRL La Luz Academy, an award-winning science, technology, engineering, and
math (STEM) education outreach program sponsored by the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base,
inspiring fifth through twelfth grade students to study STEM through hands-on science activities. Prepare, print, and
distribute 10 monthly newsletters per school year in electronic and hard copy to dignitaries, school administrators,
teachers, and others. Create and/or update manuals, brochures, recruiting flyers, handbooks, and many other documents
throughout the year. Perform all photographic and graphic design duties. Assist with major STEM events such as the
annual Rocket Launch and Link-Up Day events. Represent program at various trade shows and other events, such as the
