PROCUREMENT
Procurement management:
During the procurement stage of a project,BATES can manage
the entire process from the development of technical requisi-
tion documents, the negotiation of the monitoring of equip-
ment through the warranty period.
We have solid working relationships with industry suppliers,
ensuring that your specifications are technically fit for purpose
and to your budget requirements.
BATES handles the communication with suppliers and we as-
sist you during delivery,installation and commissioning of your
project.
Quantity surveyor and
Contract management:
BATES believe the concept of the contract should be such
that the primary focus is getting the project completed on
time and to budget and not a focus on protecting each other’s
position.
An integral part of Contract Management is the role of the
Quantity Surveyor who will perform a variety of tasks includ-
ing:
• preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of
quantities;

• performing risk and value management advising on procure-
ment strategy;
• identifying, analysing and developing responses to commer-

and office building of what is now bTV Media Group in Sofia.
The building comprises offices, studios and all control, editing, dubbing and other production facilitates on
approximately 23 000 sq.m.
The collaboration with US, and English architects and designers in the course of the project allowed the
implementation of contemporary construction technologies and materials in compliance with the latest

understand their demographics, motorization, fuel sales
and competitors networks.
Our work continued to the level on which we could
draw borders between different market areas and identify
