Facebook reached to 200 million users in less than a year, where it took Radio 38 yrs and TV 13 yrs to reach 50 million users. YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine in the world. There are over 200,000,000 blogs and 34% of them post opinions about products and brands.

Social Media and businesses A study of small businesses showed that they generated a 50% increase in leads due to social networking. 57.7% of online bloggers proactively recommend people on there blog to purchase suggest items. More than 60% businesses in the Fortune 1000 manage an online community.
