• To increase the value of test results
• To prove what we claim is true
Examples
• To support global sustainable soil management
• To check the quality of soil
• To make the soil results comparable and interpretable to
support the policy maker decision and researches

• When modifications are made in an existing

• The simplified form to report individual laboratory
procedures of analysis works!
• RESOLANs appreciated to discuss how to harmonize
SOPs at their annual meetings (regional harmonization)
• Experts in charge of writing globally harmonized
SOPs are often overwhelmed of
information…database with over 200 rows of data
to analyse
