  4. 4. What is Morphology ?? The branch of biology that studies the structure and form of animals and plants. The study of the form and structure of plants and animals.

  6. 6. Morphology of RICE Germinating Seed: When the seed germinates in well-drained and well-aerated soil, the coleorhiza, a covering enclosing the radicle or primary root, protrudes first. Fig. 1 - The coleorhiza protrudes first.
