This applies to many of the domains that psychologically oriented researchers typically consider, including cooperation, trust, fairness, in-group favouritism/ cheating, costly punishment, aggressiveness, morality, and competitiveness.

• Definition - a set of ideas,
behavior, attitudes and traditions
that exist within a large groups of
people.
• Passed on from generation to
generation.
• There are many different cultures.
3. • Culture plays a vital role in shaping the society and the
country.
• It shapes experiences and influences us right from birth.
• An early exposure to culture helps in forming our identity.
• For the most of the people the behavior is just built
automatically through experiences and events.
4. • Values influence human social behavior because they form the
basics for norms.
• It help us to develop and act in a certain way.
• It enhances our quality of life.
• It is easily identified by examining the behavior and acts of local
people by observing how people react to a negative / positive
stimulus.

a young age what those rules are
from those around them.
• Culture forces us to create and
learn in our own ways of thinking,
feeling and behaving.
• They remind us that we are part of a
history that defines our past, shapes
who we are today and who we are
likely to become.
• It looks at the totality of any given

morals, practices, language and
attitudinal variables, which makes a
person unique from others.
