you find talent that fits.

to find qualified candidates, but
finding people who truly fit can
be a lot tougher. Make sure your
applicant tracking system offers
free distribution channels for
your job advertisements.
1. Find a good selection.
Hiring interns and summer students is a great way to find
talent. It also helps the community by giving young people
work experience.
2. Try them on for size.
3. Measure accurately
Not all assessments are predictive, but the best ones are. Whether it is a
questionnaire or a work simulation, accurate assessments can help both
you and the candidate understand if the job is a good fit.

4. Talk the talk…honestly.
Don’t be afraid to give realistic job previews.

They may have friends that
would be the ideal fit for
your organization.

Let the team help interview candidates. Different people see different things. Peers
will have insights that managers totally miss. Not only will you get a better fit,
you’ll get the whole team standing behind the hiring decision.

something worthwhile, a place of learning, an opportunity
for comradeship, or a good work-life balance?
If you know your deep value proposition, you can attract
qualified candidates who are heading in the same direction.

A poor or mediocre hire can
be a drag on the
