1. Office Manager Job Description
The Office Manager is responsible for efficient office operations and supporting manufacturing operations.
This position requires excellent attention to detail, and communication skills. This position will be at Mt.
Iron, MN and reports to the Financial Controller.

Perform all day to day office duties including copying, faxing, scanning and ordering of supplies.
Maintain company guidelines, procedures, and best practices established by the Company.
Assist with data entry, including recording credit cards receipts
Provide scanned POs, pack slips and other related purchasing documents to Accounting.
Regulate and implement filing systems and procedures.
Review Accounts Receivable Aging and assist Sales and Support in contacting customers with past due
balances.
Maintain and reconcile FAS fixed assets on a monthly basis.
Maintain and reconcile Intercompany transactions
Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
Provide monthly inventory reports to the Financial Controller.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of data
Ensure compliance with the Union Contract
Prepare data for Work Comp and Work Comp Audit
Provide local HR support
Assist in Vendor Credit Application and Customer Credit Approval Processes
Apply payments to customer accounts and report cash receipts to the Financial Controllers and Sales.
Assist the Financial Controller and Operation Manager in Inventory Management such as cycle and
physical count plans, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and perform daily inventory move
tickets.
Provide support to Sales by answering phone calls regarding basic customers questions and direct
technical support calls to the appropriate party
Assist in the company’s Year-end Financial Audit
Develop and maintain a working understanding of company operations through hands-on experience
Oversee company IT assets and provide basic IT maintenance with offsite guidance (if necessary) from
company’s Washington office and company IT provider
Assume clerical, administrative, and secretarial responsibilities
Additional responsibilities may be required as the company strives to grow.
