This document is a WebQuest that aims to show students how mathematics is used in daily life and various careers. It begins by acknowledging how students often question the practical applications of what they learn in math class. The task has students individually or in groups research real-world examples of math use and present their findings. They are provided links to gather information on math in daily life, careers using math, and where math will be used outside of one's career. It concludes by hoping students now understand math's importance and will be more engaged in math class.
