respected
international
honours
society
that
recognizes
academic
excellence
in
psychology.
To
become
a
member,
students
must
be
in
the
top
35%
of
the
Psychology
Faculty
at
UBC.
Furthermore,
Psi
Chi
functions
as
a
federation
of
chapters,
located
in
over
1,100
colleges
and
universities
in
the
U.S.,
Canada,
and
around
the
world.
In
turn,
the
student
members
become
part
of
a
distinguished
network
of
psychology
scholars
–
including
notables
such
as
Albert
Bandura
and
Philip
Zimbardo
–
as
well
as
an
academic
society
that
has
been
around
for
over
75
