Talk with Leo Pearlman (Fullwell73)
08/10/22
The Looking Glass, Sunniside.
The talk was with Leo Pearlman, who started a company in 2005 called ‘fullwell73’. Fullwell73 is a
media production company who specialise in a wide range of media including theatre, television,
broadcast and documentary. Fulwell73 has created documentaries for Netflix with an
investigative series about D.B Cooper and Sunderland Till I Die, A documentary series about
Sunderland AFC.
In 2017, James Corden became The fifth full time partner of Fulwell73 alongside the 4 original
founders Gabe and Ben Turner, Leo Pearlman, and Ben Winston.
Fulwell73 has taught me about the new investments in the creative field coming to Sunderland
and other parts of the Northeast such as the new Crown Works studio development on the
Sunderland Riverside, which spans 1.4 million square foot and has seen a £450 million investment.
The talk had taught me about the process and all of the different roles in creating a film project.
It has educated me further on all of the roles I can potentially go into and made me excited about
all of the new opportunities coming to the Northeast in the coming years. I also know about the
opportunities available at Fulwell73 including apprenticeships and future job opportunities.
