7. Space Experiment Competition December 2007 a team of sixth form students entered a National Space Competition run by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and the British National Space Centre.

9. Langton Ultimate Cosmic ray Intensity Detector Designed an experiment using Timepix detectors to collect cosmic ray data in Low Earth Orbit. Raised extra funding to space qualify the Timepix chips.

11. LUCID will fly on a Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd satellite TechDemoSat – 1 in early 2012.
