3.  Rapid combustion
Rapid combustion is a
form of combustion in

heat and light energy are
released. This often occurs
as a fire.
LPG burns rapidly and
produces heat and light.

low ignition temperature begins to
release heat.
• The outbreak of fire without
application of heat from an
external source.
