I am a creative media student who is keen to pursue a career in the creative industry. During my
time in college I have learnt how to work well in a team as well as individually and I am willing to

Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens - Volunteer
● I work as a volunteer as part of my work placement. During my time as a volunteer I have
helped out with a multitude of events, including Sunderland Cultures event Bright Lights
Remixed. Throughout this event I helped set up the main area and was put in charge of one
of the activities.
● This experience helped me gain and develop new skills, such as teamwork: as I had to work
well with the rest of the staff to ensure everything was set up in time for the event to start.
It also helped me develop my confidence as I worked with people I did not know very well.
