2. Message- Message to help inform , persuade and promote tickets for year 11
students to come to prom. Talk about how important it is to celebrate what you
have achieved with your fellow classmates and teachers for one last time together.
Strategy-To hold discussions and assemblies talking about why students should buy a
ticket fro prom, make a website showing information about the photographers,
venue, what will happen during the night, concourse marketing promoting the
tickets, Tannoy announcements reminding students about dates
Audience- Audience will be the year 11 class of 2012
Success criteria –we will measure our success by seeing how many views there are
on our website, feedback from assemblies and concourse marketing and finally the
number of sale of tickets for the night.
Evaluation
by doing this campaign it would be really helpful towards the school in terms of
promoting and getting as many people to come as possible.
we already would have had the message and audience thought through so we would just
have to focus on our strategy and promotion, it is also a great way to end creative
media diploma and preparing something for ourselves.
However because the deadline for this unit is so soon and prom is well after that if any
changes are made we wont be able to correct them also talking to the prom
committee they didn't seem too convinced as they didnt want us to take over
completely , they also weren't a 100% sure with what they wanted and unless they
were sure we would not be able to carry on as it would be important to work with
the prom committee.
3. Message- Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with your
friends/family however there are many dangers that come with it,
images and photos are easily manipulated and taken, your friends may
not be who they say they are, and once you post or upload something on
facebook it stays there forever even after you have removed it.
Strategy- make a website showing information and advice, a PowerPoint
for assemblies bringing awareness ,a TV advert showing the consequences
of accepting people you don't know, online survey asking students to for
their stories and comments, our own facebook page that you could
follow.
Audience- All of Cranford students who have face book
Success criteria- how many people viewed our website, followers on
facebook, our surveys success-seeing the comments made by students
Evaluation
It Would be really great to keep students of Cranford safe, its something
everyone would be interested in because face book is a big part of
everyone's daily routine, there are many people who can relate to the
information we give out or advice
It something that's very common so we would have to come up with
something unique to make our facebook campaign stand out like
focussing on one aspect of danger on facebook.
4. Message- To promote the production of Barnum. By bring awareness of
the history, actors and why its a performance students should not miss!
Strategy- Doing assemblies, putting posters up of the actual productions,
doing tannoy announcements reminding students of any relevant and
important dates, concourse marketing, an advert preferably like a trailer
to help give students an idea of what will be performed
Audience- All students especially those who love musicals, this is
definitely one to watch especially if your a fan of the circus and its
history.
Success criteria- you’ll be able to see by the amount of tickets sold,
feedback from the performances.
Evaluation
It Would be a great opportunity as its just began at the same time we
started this unit, we would in control of it. Promoting it would be fun as
we would make posters, PowerPoint's and selling tickets.
The only problem with it being so new is that again there are so many other
people involved so there might some miscommunication as everyone will
be busy. Would involve a lot of chasing.
5. Message-fundraise money for a certain cause.
Strategy- through online and TV adverts, cake sales, fund raising events
such as a fashion cat walk, creating a website and facebook where we
could also reach out to the general website so they can follow us.
Audience-The audience is cranford students and staff
Success criteria- seeing how much money we raise for the charity, how
well the fundraising events went and the participation of Cranford
students. Our views and followers on our website and facebook page.
Evaluation
It would help a good cause especially if its not a well known charity, because
in cranford we have seen fundraising for well know charities such as
breast cancer, it would be better if we campaigned for something
different and in more need of help. We would have to find a charity that
hasn't already got a website or anything similar.
I would think this process would be really long ,especially if we want to
keep the progress up and reach our objective... We would have to be
careful and organised as we would work with the charity in order to help
promote it message,
6. Message- Exams for year 11’s are right round the corner, so here are
some final tips and free-stress advice.
Strategy- holding group discussions and speeches about how to get by
these stressful weeks, making power points and leaflets with advice,
making surveys and questionnaires to help give us ideas on where
students need help, a website and facebook page so students can upload
their own resources and comments
Audience- cranfords year 11’s
Success criteria- seeing how many people attend out talks, the filling
out of surveys and questionnaires asking students what they thought of
this campaign seeing how many leaflets were given out, seeing how many
views and followers we have on our website and facebook page.
Evaluation
we would be really experienced and can relate to it since were year 11
students as well, easy to reach our target audience since we know then
really well, exams are really important so students will be interested.
I thought it would be quite boring and i wanted to end creative media
diploma on a high note. Also we cant be that creative either. we cant
assess our campaign that well without seeing how this campaign has
affected results.
