• Annual Employment Law Conference
This event, which takes place each March, brings together the region’s best legal minds to provide EA members
with the most current legislative information impacting employers and HR professionals. Attendees can tailor their
day to their specific needs by selecting breakout sessions on legal topics ranging from FMLA, ADA, wage and hour
issues and Worker’s Comp to new case law on pregnancy discrimination, medical marijuana, and same sex

Each November, The EA collaborates with the Northwest Ohio Human Resource Association (NOHRA) to host a

• Legal Compliance Seminars
These seminars are offered throughout the year on topics from wage and hour law, FMLA, and internal
investigations to overlapping leave laws, employee handbooks and more. The popular Employment Law Certificate

are taught by labor law attorneys from Toledo and Northwest Ohio.
