• Systematic approach to determine roles within an
organization
• Takes into consideration the responsibilities to be
handled
• Determines the purpose and scope of each role
• Lays foundation for designing the job description
and specification
• Helps in determining the designation of an
employee

A questionnaire was developed and
duly filled by the existing role
occupants.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• A job description is a document that outlines the
duties, responsibilities, tasks, and purpose of a
position.
• It specifies who does particular types of work, how
that work is to be carried out, how frequently it is to
be done, and how it links to the organization's
mission and objectives.
Drafted Standard JDs for 4 different
levels in the organizational hierarchy
Understanding roles and
responsibilities of different roles in
the organization.
Restructuring the job description of
the employees in the organization.
HR audit and documentation.
Presentation on new insurance policy.

CONCLUSION
• Through these Activities we understood how Role
Analysis and Job Description are intertwined with each
other and other major HRM functions.
• We also came across the theoretical differences and
how talent acquisition as a HRM Function is
fundamentally adaptable according to the needs and
domain of the company.
• Apart from HRM Activities, We developed a better
understanding of the business and how the HRM
department was placed within the organisation.
