Who Is Sam Tabar?
If you haven’t heard of the name Sam Tabar yet, it’s probably because you are not residing in the New York City area, or
you haven’t been in need of a prominent attorney or a capital strategist yet in your life. He’s a prominent name within the
business and sure knows how to do is job and make a great name for himself within his chosen field. He’s a licensed
attorney who is practicing law as his profession in the state of New York and in the heart of New York City.
How Did He Get His Start?
Sam had gotten his start at Oxford University in May of the year 2000, and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts
Degree. Fast forward a year and he’s serving as the Associate Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review, which gave
him the perfect setting to get his real start within the business world. In September of the same year, he’s starting as an
Associate with Skadden, Arps, Slater, Meager & Flom LLP in New York, which is where he still remains today.
Three years later and Tabar moved to SPARX Group/PMA Investment Advisors, Tokyo/Hong Kong/London/New York as
the Managing Director & Co-Head of Business Development. In six years, he’s moved to the Bank of America as the
Director and Head of Capital Strategy. In 2010, he’s a Director at Adanac LLC, BVI and starting in 2013 until today; he’s
now the Senior Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in NYC. all of which are experiences that have really given him the
training and background that he needed to be successful man that he is today within his chosen field.
2. Not All Business
Mr. Tabar is not all business and no play, as he still finds himself enjoying the simpler things in life from time to time when
he is not focusing on his successful work as a business man and lawyer. In his free time, Sam loves to host events for
friends, family and colleagues and also travel around the world, experiencing new places and cultures along the way with
every trip that he makes. This has helped him become fluent in French, and even given him a dabble of speaking Japanese
as well, shaping him into the well-rounded man that he is. Sam also spends time on Twitter, talking about the business
world, and his travels.
