Project Management
Two of the main problems I have identified are my organisation and preparation for upcoming lesson
making it more difficult to complete the work on time. Another problem I identified was my scheduling
because I tend to spend hours on one piece and then leave no time for another task.
Research and Ideas Generation
My researching skills aren’t too bad as I am able to find the necessary information and images required. I
just need to improve on going into more detail on my idea generation.
Drawing Techniques
I have basic drawing skills enough to draw an image an acceptable image. I could just improve on my
shading and scale so the image doesn’t look out of proportion.
Adobe Photoshop
I have basic understanding of Photoshop but still need assistance when it comes to certain pieces of editing
such as using the cloning tool.
Adobe Illustrator
I have basic skills in Illustrator so I’m able to complete simple commands and tasks but sometimes need to
ask my peers or the tutor for assistant on certain tasks.
NewTek LightWave - Modeler
I am able to complete a range of different task using LightWave Modeler and I am able to make basic 3D
models using a set of tools providing but still need assistance when it comes to solving problems such as
malfunctions.

Yes I am aware I have 7 weeks to hand the assignment in, but an extension was given due to program
difficulties so all together we had 9 weeks to complete the assignment.
Do you understand what elements of the unit are being assessed?
I know some of the elements were being assessed on but I think I need to refer back to the assignment brief
to get more of a understanding on all of it.
Do you understand the scenario and the reasons for carrying out the assignment?
Yes I understand I am having to create a robot design for an online community game called Second Life.
Have you visited the Second Life community and the SL Market Place? What are your impressions?
No but I plan on viewing the site and getting a slight understanding of the community and market place.
What is your goal for this assignment?
Complete all the task to a pass level and possibly a merit level.
