people, people, people.
Whatever industry a company is in, its employees
are its biggest competitive advantage.”
~ Richard Branson
We do this by driving each
business decision with our core
set of values.
This is our core. Our Code.
(See what we did there?)

2. Value over profit
3. Quality code
4. Trust
5. Don't be evil
6. Job Satisfaction

10. Innovation
1. Helping Customers
Simplicity is the most difficult thing to
achieve, and things that matter, are worth
working on.
As a dynamic and talented team, we
constantly work together to develop
functional and effective automation
solutions that help our customers to scale
their businesses beyond their manual
processing capabilities.
Fancy solutions aren’t always better.
We’ve been known to take on a project, not because it’ll
make us loads of money, but because it makes sense.
It makes sense for our customer, and it makes sense
for our business.
For every project we do, we learn things. Those ‘things’
are valuable - but that value might not necessarily be
measured in Rands.
2. Value over Profit
We build effective software built using quality
code - this creates successful and happy
customers.
We believe in code reviews, knowledge sharing,
mentorships and good ‘ol fashioned hard work.
3. Quality Code
Trust is essential, whether we’re responsible for the
end-to-end operations of a customer, or the income
and future career growth of our staff.
We work hard to build and
maintain trust by being open,
honest and building strong
relationships.
4. Trust
Ethics and professionalism in serving our Customers
and supporting our Team - above all else.
5. Don’t be Evil
Satisfaction has many facets, so we
regularly ask our Team “What drives
your job satisfaction?”.
The answers are ever-evolving and we
always strive to make sure that we’re
hitting the mark, but at the end of the
day, we all just want to work
somewhere that we love.
6. Job Satisfaction
We are a great bunch of like-minded people all
striving towards the same goals. We value a very
healthy culture of debate and openness.
7. Strength of Relationships
We are a team, from the cleaning
angel right through to the
CEO/COO. Each of us are a vital
link to the working of this
company. We are each valued and
can always talk to our team about
any issue. No question goes
unanswered and our concerns are
met with care and a listening ear.
As far as is reasonable (and we take it pretty far) we
engage in a democratic vote to make decisions. For
example: which team building events to do, where to have
our year-end party, which coffee to stock, which company
car to buy, how to fairly establish a parking policy etc.
We are open, honest and transparent about decisions that
are made, and the motivations behind those decisions. Our
ExCo Team is always happy for staff to raise questions on
any decision, and to discuss them in detail.
Even though we’re a privately owned company, our full
financials are presented to staff at company update
meetings.
8. Transparency
Growth of skill set, growth in confidence, growth in
career, growth of our company. It’s all a journey.
It’s important to be able to ask for help, and then
learn how to do something. We encourage our
Teams to talk to each other, to share knowledge
and learn along the way.
Nothing is perfect the first time, and we’re not
above learning from our mistakes - it’s called
Growth ;)
Every day is a school day.
9. Growth
