Manufacturing Reliable Autotech Private Limited (RAPL) is a leading automotive component
manufacturer in India. It specializes in the large and small automobile body parts as
well as mounting brackets and pedal, axle, and chassis assemblies. The client’s main

(Logical Domain) could no longer meet future challenges with their existing SAP ERP system. RAPL found that
Solaris 10 it hindered them in terms of growth, cost containment, flexibility and agility to address
new opportunities and competiveness.

LTO costs due to customized product features, while the migration to SAP ECC 6.0 translated

other strategic projects. The client perceived the upgrade as a valuable opportunity to
maximize the value of their SAP investment by extending the functionality and improving
the performance of their vital ERP software.

YASH found that RAPL’s existing servers were not compliant with their technology
initiatives. Replacing this hardware ensured business continuity and system stability. YASH
executed the focused upgrade project with a phased implementation approach that
included:
Upgraded database from Oracle 9i to Oracle 10g
Moved the current 4.7 SAP instance onto the new hardware
Built a 3 System Landscape DEV QAS PRD
Upgraded the SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 using CUUC
Setup DR Server using Oracle Stand-by Database
