Prerequisites for Enterprise Storage
Requirements:
Server - Only servers listed in the SAP HANA Product Availability Matrix are
supported. See SAP HANA Enterprise 1.0 SAP HANA Platform 1.0 Product
Availability Matrix . Configuration adjustments like:
• No local disks, no flash cards required
• Additional FibreChannel adapters for SAN boot are allowed
Storage: All storages successfully passed the SAP HANA Hardware
Certification. For more information, see Partner Information Center or contact
HWC@sap.com.
SAP
HANA Installation: The exam “SAP Certified Technology Specialist (Edition 2013) – SAP
HANA Installation” (E_HANAINS131) needs to be passed successfully to perform SAP HANA installations

General Availability:
The
storage layer is the first layer to be opened up. SAP HANA tailored
data center integration - Enterprise Storage has already served more
than 50 customers during a pilot program and is planned to be generally
available in Q4/2013.
Pilot
Customer Program:
We plan to start a pilot customer program for SAP HANA tailored data
center integration - Enterprise Network for a limited number of
customers in December 2013.
