This presentation introduces the Talent Management capabilities within Oracle HCM Cloud.

For any solution to be a success, there has to be an effective adoption. We ensure this with an intuitive interface, while delivering the functionality needed for all HR participants – candidates, employees, managers and executives. And, because this is a cloud solution, we are able to keep you current with the latest technology, HR best practices, and system performance.
The default view is called “My Dashboard” which is designed to provide a strategic overview of the Talent Acquisition landscape for your organization. Based on roles defined by you, each user is presented with relevant actions and privileges they need to get their job done and make informed decisions. You’ll also notice that the solution can be branded to reflect your company’s look and feel.

If you are like most recruiters, the first thing you will want to see is all your open requisitions and all the candidates associated with those requisitions. The recruiter can quickly navigate to those pieces by clicking the ‘My Requisitions’ button or the candidate icon in line with each requisition.
A manager may be presented with upcoming interviews and approval requests on their dashboard as well. Or, as you can see, a scroll-through style of essential KPIs may be presented to the user based on their credentials.
SUMMARY: Configurable layouts and role-based access ensure relevant information and efficient task management for different types of users.
The next part of the demonstration is to show you our simple and easy requisition creation process. You can create a New Requisition from scratch but we have a time-savings feature called the “Job Library” if you have requisitions that you will use over and over, creating consistency and time savings in your process.
Our requisition management capabilities allow you to easily control who has what rights against the job opening, what information should be tied to it, and even how you’d like your job description to appear to applicants. Unlike our competitors, you can also assign a specific candidate workflow to specific requisitions – ensuring that all evaluation steps are met during the decision process.
SUMMARY: Requisition management tools such as creation templates, status workflows, and custom data fields allow you to easily apply your processes and data to the hiring system.
Our solution also delivers the ability to enforce screening questions and ranking criteria for specific requisitions. This is where you can configure pre-qualifying questions that will be used when people apply to your jobs. This is a favorite tool of many customers because it allows you to score candidates and automate disqualifications based on their answers – in addition to unscored basic personal information and job history they provide during the application process.
This will help you focus on the top talent quickly and ensure that your recruiters are talking to them as fast as possible in a competitive market.

Another key piece of requisition management is posting to career website portals and giving candidates a way to discover your opportunities. Portals can be linked to your company website – typically presented when they click on your ‘Careers’ button or section during the job search process.
We are also able to leverage Oracle’s pre-integrated partner network to post to job boards with just a few clicks, and in bulk! This saves your recruiting team time when they need to get the word out quickly.

Providing your candidates with an intuitive job search and apply experience is a key component of our solution. Our mobile optimized career portals are integrated with your website’s careers section and delivered out of the box with a modern look and feel.
Additionally, they can be fully configured to match your image and brand. This ensures that your applicants begin with a positive experience and follow through with their application – which, by the way, is also fully configurable to the information you’re looking to gather.
SUMMARY: Provide a positive job application experience to your candidates through branded and mobile-responsive career website portals.
For those looking to align your social media presence and referral programs with your recruitment practices, our solution also offers a social-based career website portal. This includes promotional tools to drive traffic and referral activity on the portal – such as automated email marketing campaigns and job description links posted directly to your social network pages.
All activities are tracked and gamification is included. Referral-based hiring is emerging as a key strategy in the hiring space, so turn your employees into your best recruiters.
SUMMARY: Facilitate referral-based hiring by allowing your candidates and employees to share job links to their social media connections on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Let me show you one of the more compelling features for reviewing candidate information. Let’s say that you have recently been at a conference for a few days and need to quickly review the active candidates for this position.
In addition to sorting your candidates based on specific criteria, such as top-questionnaire scorers, you simply click the checkbox at the top of the list view to select all candidates and click the View Resume button – this activates the Resume Preview carousel that allows you to quickly scroll through candidate resumes, see their status and take a next step action.
SUMMARY: Begin candidate evaluations by managing filter criteria to sort candidate lists and quickly run through attached resumes with the resume carousel.
From within this carousel, you can quickly access the full profile of the candidate by clicking the candidate name. Here I can see a full history on the various statuses the candidate has gone through, as well as scored questionnaire responses, EEO related data, job history…the works!
SUMMARY: Dive deeper into candidate-specific profiles for a full view of all the information supplied during the job application and evaluation process.
You can configure different evaluation workflows for openings, and scheduling interviews is typically a key component in the middle of that process. Our solution allows you to send calendar-friendly invites to all parties involved, assign interview feedback templates, and have visibility into Outlook calendar availability along the way.
As the interview time approaches, participants are sent automated reminders by the system. This is just one of the many events that trigger automated notifications to be sent by the system.
SUMMARY: Schedule interviews and assign interview feedback templates to continue gathering information needed to make an informed hiring decision.
Once you’ve been convinced you’ve found your next great hire, generate an offer letter to close the loop. You can manage a library of contextual offer letters, delivered as email attachments or sent to online portals for electronic signature. Offer letter approval workflows may also be enforced before they can be sent to the candidate.
As approvals are completed and offer letters are accepted (or rejected), automated notifications and workflow status updates keep the process moving. You’re now one step closer to officially converting them to employee status and beginning the Onboarding process.
SUMMARY: Manage a dynamic offer letter library as you direct candidates to e-sign offer letters online or email offer letter attachments.
In most companies, new hires are required to fill out numerous forms on their first day. We want to help streamline that process and give you an efficient way to digitize and distribute those materials. Onboarding is the 3rd key component to our Talent Acquisition solution. Whether that is email notification tasks, information to view, or documents to fill out online, the Onboarding solution helps to keep all gears turning for all parties involved.
Notice that you are able to organize your library of activities into unique bundles – which is effective for managing unique onboarding requirements across various hire types and participants.

As activities are completed, onboarding coordinators can monitor progress, assign activities, and send reminders - all in one place. It’s a great way to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Based on the privileges they’ve been granted, coordinators can drill into onboarding packets and view employee profiles for a full scope of activities, personal information, and job-related data.
SUMMARY: Keep the onboarding process moving through manager tracking capabilities and automated reminder notification emails.
To continue that modern, mobile, and engaging experience that began in the career website portals, your employees can also access their dedicated employee portal to complete their assigned activities. By the way, Oracle allows you to upload and assign as many of these activities and forms as you like at no additional cost.
You may also notice that, in addition to the forms and activities, the portals are flexible enough for linking to other sources online, embedding video, and information updates completed by the employee. Note that our open API allows any of this updated information to be integrated and sent to your Core system of record.
SUMMARY: Continue the mobile, intuitive experience through online employee portals as they complete and e-sign onboarding activities, as well as maintain their employee profile information.
Reports tie all your work together and give you the data you need to optimize your processes. Whether you’re creating custom reports or using standard summary reports, they are all exportable in various file formats and can be scheduled for email delivery. Emailed reports are an especially great way to reach executives who work outside the system – or even yourself if you miss a day!
