Beliefs, Attitude, Behavior
Belief: People sometimes fallow others footsteps thinking that it is alright and sometimes even do thing that are passed down from their generations but when they look back they notice that maybe fallowing others was not such a good thing since every person is unique and different in their own way.
People think that just because someone says something they are supposed to do it but they really are not because what some people do or say might end up being bad for them. They have to suffer from it which I don’t think is right because every person is responsible for the trouble that they cause. Life is not fair because anything bad you do to someone karma comes back to you.
Beliefs are easily manipulated and they are easy to control. Beliefs need others to stimulate them to keep them on task and energized.
Attitudes: It is true that people with a positive attitude tend to do good as if you say I am going to pass my test you will most likely end up passing it.
Having a negative attitude never does any good. If you go on with you life being negative you will never get anywhere. If you intend to get bad grades then say that your never going to go to college or that your not smart enough you will end up not doing anything with you life.
Attitude tie beliefs and actions together. Dissonance occurs most often in situations where an individual must choose between two incompatible beliefs and actions. Cognitive dissonance is when there is a discrepancy between what a person believes, knows and values, and persuasive information that calls these into question.
The Affects of Attitude on Behavior One who has a negative attitude will tend to act negatively. On the other hand one who has a positive attitude will act positively. In other words a person who is negative or indifferent will not attempt to help others and reach out to those in need, while someone with a positive attitude will do anything in his/her power to help the people around them and try to make the world better place to live in.
The Affect of Beliefs on Behavior Although this may not seem legitimate beliefs have a great effect on our actions. For example if someone believes that a cat passing by them is an omen of something bad about to occur then they will act towards avoiding a meeting with any black cats. Another example would be when salt falls on the table then a fight is going to occur, one who believes this will try to avoid any chances of the salt falling on the table.
Behavior: One has to be careful of his/her actions because the outcomes of their actions may effect the world in either negative or positive way.
