Objectives: At the end of the session, the
would-be teachers will have been able
to:
1. find out the reason that makes the Philippines a highly
multilingual nation;
2. discuss the prevailing issues concerning the language
conditions in the country; and
3. value the opportunities to be situated in multilingual
societies.
