2. What is success?
• There are numerous definitions of success
available in this world. It is a very subjective
term and people always have a highly
personalized definition of success. According
to me, success is living a happy and fulfilled
life.
3. What is Positive Thinking?
• It is that thinking which gives you enough power to confront
your weaknesses & overcome them.
• It is that thinking which helps you to give your best so that
you can succeed even when all odds are against you.
• It is that thinking which transforms you into an ACTOR
rather than a RE-ACTOR.
• It is that thinking which helps you to LIVE your life rather
than be LIVED.
4. Positive lifestyles towards success
• Making a lifestyle change is challenging,
especially when you want to transform many
things at once.
• Lifestyle changes are a process that take time and
require support. Once you’re ready to make a
change, the difficult part is committing and
following through. So do your research and make
a plan that will prepare you for success. Careful
planning means setting small goals and taking
things one step at a time.
5. 1. Know your purpose:
• Make a decision to live your life as you always
dreamt it. Let go of old habits and anything not in
line with who you truly want to be.
• Give up trying to change yourself in order to win the
approval of others. Instead follow your natural
strengths and start pursuing the work you love.
• Finding your purpose can be as simple as asking
yourself what you are passionate about, what you
love to do and what it is in your life that you can't
stop thinking about. Then you take that one thing
and find a way to make it a bigger part of every day.
• Be true to your beliefs, live by your own code and
dare to voice your thoughts and opinions.
6. 2. Strive for more:
• As children we were full of hope, curiosity and
creative rebellion.
• Our imagination knew no boundaries, we broke
the rules and we were always striving for more.
We weren't afraid to be unreasonable in the
pursuit of what we wanted.
• Some people suggest constantly wanting more is
unhealthy and can possibly lead to unhappiness.
Others believe we were built to push beyond our
comfort zones and reach for something higher.
• Find your own personal reason to exist and work
out a way to include it in your life.
7. 3. Set goals for success:
• Most of us are being pulled in so many different
directions that it's often hard to be clear on what we
want out of life and whether we are on the right
path.
• If you haven't set goals then how can you possibly
hope to attain them?
• Goals promote personal growth, breathe life into our
days and inspire us to be better and achieve more.
• They are an investment in your dream and a
statement that you are committed to achieving it.
Write them down so you can refer back to them
regularly.
• Build on your achievements by setting more goals.
8. 4. Be your own motivation/cheerleader:
• If there's something you want to achieve the most
important step is to believe in yourself. Having a positive
outlook is the key to living a happy and successful life and
one of the most important parts of that is having a "fall
down and get back up" attitude.
• Life has a habit of throwing obstacles in our way and if we
can't push on after a setback we won't get anywhere.
• Being positive is easier when you surround yourself with
like-minded, happy people so be mindful of the company
you keep. Spend time with those who encourage you to
be the best you can be.
• Be strong enough to let go of those who keep weighing
you down and make the decision to spend most of your
time with people who are as passionate as you are about
the plans you have for your life.
9. 5. Takerisks:
• The only way you can experience life in full is by
taking chances.
• If we feel fear it doesn't mean we don't believe in
ourselves, it just means that we know there could
be some pain on our journey but we're willing to
step out of our comfort zone and experience it
anyway.
• Mistakes aren't bad. The fear of mistakes, though,
will imprison you and you will never move forward
in life. Instead of being scared of making a mistake,
be scared of not making one.
• Without them there is no learning and no growth.
10. 6. Procrastination:
• If you have to procrastinate then you must
procrastinate, ‘procrastination’.
• Time is the fabric of which our lives are made
of. It is a much more valuable resource than
money. Time cannot be saved and it can only
be invested in meaningful activities or wasted
in useless pursuits.
• Never wait for the right time to begin a right
thing; else you will always be waiting. Your
tomorrow is designed by what you do today
11. 7. Observe your lifestyles anddevelop great habits:
• Success is best enjoyed by people who are
ethically right. Stop wasting your time on
meaningless pursuits.
• Exercise alone is not enough for health you must
watch the food and chemicals you put into your
body. Do not eat junk and greasy foods.
• Also stay away from sleeping disorders by
building proper sleep disciplines.
• Your habits create your lifestyle and the results
you attain.
12. 8. Make time for yourself:
• Remember that what you do today is all helping
towards creating your future. The words you speak
and the actions you take are defining your destiny.
• Life moves quickly. Your days become weeks, then
months and before you know it a year has passed
you by. Make a habit of rising early so you can take
an hour or so each morning for yourself.
• Spend time thinking, planning, showering or
pampering. Whenever you choose to do it, allowing
yourself the ritual of some "me time" can help make
you a better and more productive person.
13. • If you follow these keys, your success in life is
guaranteed.
“Success is living life on your own terms.
Living with people you want to LIVE.
Working with people you want to WORK.
Doing the work, you want to DO.
Earning enough money to cover your
EXPENSE.
Serving as many people as you CAN
Everything else is a COMPROMISE”.
