Here is my powerpoint presentation containing my collage and analysis of music magazines

2. I choose to insert the top of the pops magazine as it is one of the very few magazines that I read. I enjoy this magazine due to the bold masthead because of its boldness and the white stroke surrounding it . I also benefit from the amount of photographs and the range of shots used on this magazine cover also the pull quote because of its boldness and its colour scheme. I like the way this editor has added page numbers on to the front cover instead of in the magazine. Finally I also enjoy the colour scheme of this magazine, it yells out pop/dance party.

3. I choose to add this magazine because of the bold, bright masthead and the use of a medium photo and the use of a slogo. I like the amount of photos used and the fact that all the photos are all a medium close up. This magazine follows a similar colour scheme to the previous magazine using yellows, pinks and whites.

4. I choose to us this magazine because of the bright colour scheme and the party feel it gives off. I enjoy the bold masthead and slogo. I also like the free gift idea to draw readers to their magazine.

5. I chose to add this magazine into my presentation because I don not like it and because of its simple layout. However I do enjoy the way they have set out the masthead and I shall try to recreate something like this in my magazine.

6. All of the following magazines contain a very similar layout of mastheads and a similar font throughout. However only NME and Q contain a slogo. NME contains a pull quote and is the only one that contains one in all of these magazines.

7. Both of these magazines contain a photo of the most popular female artists of our generation. They also contain a similar layout yet contain very different typeface.
