4. Fiber selection
• T shirt can be made up of either 100% cotton or
blend of cotton with other fibers
• We have choose cotton fiber for making t-shirt
• We choose this fiber because it has

▫ Good hand feel

5. Yarn making
• The next process is
making yarn from
cotton fiber
• Yarn is made by
the process of
spinning

6. Fabric Making
• The two most common methods of making fabrics are:
▫ Weaving
▫ Knitting
• Fabric is produce by Knitting machine either weft
knitting machine or circular knitting machine

7. Pattern Design
• Before fabric cutting, we have to make a pattern
for t shirt
• Pattern is made according measurement
specification

8. Fabric cutting
• Pattern is placed on fabric
• Marking on fabric following shapes of pattern
• Then fabric cut by manual cutter or machine
cutter

9. T Shirt Stitching
• T Shirt is made by stitching process

10. Garment Dyeing
• There are several method of dyeing
• Yarn dyeing
• Fabric dyeing

• We choose screen printing
method to apply printing on t
shirt
• Printing screen is placed on
garment and applied printing
paste on screen

• There are many finishes which can be applied on
garment
• We applied softener finish on T shirt to make
soft hand feel
• Garment is then ironed

13. Labeling
• Label can be stitch in garment before or after
wash
• There are many types of labels that commonly
used in garments

▫ Bar code label

• Garment Folding
• Inlay card (if required)
