  • 5. Demographics   •  In  Mexico  City  there  are  more  people  than   total  people  in  Canada.  There  is  way  more   land  in  Canada  and  in  just  one  city  there  are   more  people.  In  2009  there  where     110,201,789  people  In  Mexico  total.  There  is   way  more  land  in  Canada  and  in  just  one  city   there  are  more  people.

Espanol   •  Espanol  es  uno  de  los  idiomas  mas  ablados  en  el   mundo.  Spanish  is  one  of  the  most  common   spoken  languages  in  the  World.  The  advantages   of  learning  Spanish  is  that  a  lot  of  other   languages  are  similar,  making  it  easier  to  learn   new  languages.     •  Spanish  is  the  language  most  spoken  in  Mexico.   English  is  the  second  most  used  language.  Many   others  are  also  spoken,  but  not  as  widely  used.

  • 9. • 10. Tourist  Warnings   •  In  America  there  have  been  reports  that  you   should  not  go  to  Mexico  because  of  dangerous   acHviHes,  drug  trade,  and  gang  wars.  These   warnings  have  been  posted  in  the  media  and  on   radios  all  around  the  USA.  Over  1  million  U.S.   ciHzens  live  in  Mexico.  Violence  has  occurred   throughout  the  country  and  in  tourist   desHnaHons  and  has  even  killed  innocent.   bystanders.  America  advises  that  U.S.  ciHzens  in   Mexico  to  stay  in  your  house  and  get  to  the  U.S.   as  soon  as  possible.
  • 11. Spanish  Invasion     •  Before  Mexican  Independence  Mexico  was     under  rule  of  the  Spanish.  The  conquistadors   invaded  the  Aztecs.  The  Spanish  leaders  name   was  Hernan  Cortez.  This  was  the  most   important  invasion  to  colonize  the  Americas   by  the  Spanish.
  • 12. ImmigraHons     •  Mexico  has  the  largest  number  of  U.S.  ciHzens.   25%  of  the  people  in  Mexico  are  from  the  U.S.          Mexico  and  the  USA  have  the  most  frequently   crossed  border  in  the  world.  There  are  about    270   million  crossings  per  year.  About  a  year  ago   America  and  Canada  made  a  new  law  that  if  you   are  Mexican  you  need  a  visa  to  get  into  United   States  or  Canada.  This  makes  Mexicans  have  to   plan  ahead  to  travel  to  US  and  Canada.          it  is  illegal  to  cross  the  border.
  • 13. History    The  Earliest  remains  in  the  country  of  México  are   parts  of  stone  tools  found  near  fire  remains  in  the   valley  of  México  and  are  almost  20,000  B.C.E   years  old.      Between  1,700  and  300  B.C    there  have  been   many  types  of  people  in  México  such  as  the   Olmec,    the  TeoHhuacán,  the  Maya,  the  Zapotec,   The  Toltec,  and  the  Aztec.  These  people  had   many  structures,  they  have  some  of  the  largest   pyramids    in  the  world.

  • 19. Army   •  Mexico  has  the  third  largest  defense  budget  in   LaHn  America.  The  Mexican  Military  has  three   branches  Army,  Air  Force,  and  the  Mexican   Navy.  Historically  Mexico  has  been  a    neutral   country  other  than  WW2.
  • 20. The  Barbie   •  Edgar  Valdez  Villareal    A.K.A  the  Barbie.  The   Barbie  was  American,  he  was  captured  by  the   Mexican  army.  He  was  the  leader  of  Los   Negros.  The  Barbie  had  his  own  Army,  making   it  really  hard  for  the  Mexican  army  to  capture   him.  His  army  filmed  torture  and  decapitaHon,   they  filmed  over  150  deaths.  When  The  Barbie   was  captured  he  was  faced  with  charges  for   both  Mexico  and  the  U.S.A,  and  he  was  also   put  in  jail  for  his  whole  life.
