Riccardo Albertoni received his degree in Computer Science from the University of Genoa in December 2001. He got a Ph.D. in Electronic and Computer Engineering in April 2007. He has been working at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Information Technology, which is part of the Italian National Research Council, for ten years, as a research fellow at first and as a researcher later. His research activity has focused on Knowledge Management: Data Visualization, Metadata Analysis, Ontologies, Semantic Similarity and Semantic Granularity.
