stored in earth
Earth’s geothermal energy generates from
the original formation of planet and from
the radioactive decay of minerals

3.  Earth’s interior is still molten
 This magma which is at high temperature
comes out of the core
 Hotspots are the places through which the
magma comes out
 The water here becomes steam by accepting
heat from the hot spot
 The stream trapped between rock is taken out
through pipes laid in bored rocks
 This steam rotates turbines, there by
generating electricity

5. Geothermal power plant uses its
geothermal activity to generate power
This type of natural energy production is
extremely environmental friendly and
used in many geothermal hotspots around
globe
