Who We Are, What We Do and our Values- Located within the College for social and applied human sciences at the University of Guelph Formed in October 2009, in response to community campus dialogue and on-campus planning. - ICES draws on strong traditions of community engagement and socially responsive research within the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences (CSAHS)
We work on multiple levels to build and maintain relationships through: - convening strategic research groups - working with community based researchers and embedded graduate students in the research shop - engaging community based researchers - working to connect across campus and across townEngaging in knowledge mobilization: - first poster exhibit held off-campus, in a mall. First collection of posters digitally archived as a collection at the library.
