same with the study of Granitz and Kohli (2014) on their survey of
High School students. The career of the students relies on their peers
and friends and not to the reliable persons such as guidance
counselors and teachers. The phenomenon of the decision-making is
because of the fact that the respondents are in their teenage years and
they tend to decide based on the majority of friends.
• The Dissertation of Pittaoulis (2012) regarding on the thinking of
selecting college majors, plan for the future has the same findings.
The priority of students on the fact that the chosen track can lead
them to job satisfaction and skills for much high paying job. The
results have a strongly agreed interpretation on the skills and
satisfaction of their future career.
