Make sure your resume is brief and well organized.

Avoid fancy emails in your resume.
Don’t use different font types and sizes
Make sure your resume is error free
Use clean and readable fonts in your resume

Do not use personal pronouns such as I, we, you etc.
Avoid personal information such as - Religion/ age/race/ health/marital
status/ family status etc .
Be factual. Don’t give fake information in resume.
Don’t use jargons
Don’t use negative phrases.
10. Highlight your relevant experience
Mention your soft skills related to job you have applied for.
Use powerful action words such as --accomplished ,Qualified,
Achieved, delivered, coordinated ,chaired, executed , initiated , designed
etc.
Highlight your technical skills
Update you resume from time to time.
Prepare unique resume for different jobs
11. Make sure your personal details on the top of the resume
State the position for which you are applying
List your educational qualifications with details in reverse
chronological order. Start with highest educational achievement.
Mention your work experience in reverse chronological order. Include
you job title – company name – start and end date of employment.
State your extracurricular activities relevant to the position you are
applying for.
Mention hobbies that reflect your personality, self discipline, work ethic
and relevant to the job as well.
At the bottom of the resume mention a list of three reference that is
work related.
