As the use of green screen
technology was a new
advancement to the film industry, it
was popular amongst the public
and therefore gained a mass
audience

Star Wars was the first time that the
credits of the actors were shown at
the beginning of the film. It was not
allowed at the time as it limited
George Lucas to having no established
actors/writers because this view was
not shared amongst the industry.
Therefore, the whole production was
shipped to the UK.
This was one of the only Science
Fiction movies in the 1970’s but was
not the only one competing to be the
best of all time. Because there was
little competition, this film also gained
a lot of support
