It is an OPENSOURCE BIBLIOGRAPHIC SOFTWARE –
used for
• Downloading & Storing references.
• Creating new references.
• Adding references/citations to your paper in MS word or
LaTex.
• Collaboratively write papers using cloud data storage.
• Very easy to use.

INSTALLING ZOTERO
1. Install it the normal way – pressing next,next,next..
2. Make sure you have closed all your active MS office
files such as word, power point etc before
installation.

4. HOW TO DOWNLOAD CITATIONS
1. Keep your ZOTERO open. Create a new library.
2. Name your library something like “my_research_paper_title”.
3. Go to Google Scholar
4. Type Your Keywords –Use Boolean Operators AND,OR,NOT.
5. Click “Cite” link of the chosen paper.
6. Click “ZOTERO ”Link In The Cite window.
7. 7. A .enw or .ris file gets downloaded. Double click that file. It opens
automatically in the my_research _paper_title.enl file.
