Section for Blue Scope Steel;
 Executing the Concept design following change to the Import and Export of Spent and Regenerated
Sulphuric Acid Transfer Facility for Orica Chemicals; and
 Facilitated a multidiscipline team based Pre-Start-up Safety Review following extended stoppage
and modification of the Sulphuric Acid Regeneration Plant operated by Orica Chemicals in Port Kembla.
Manager – HSE Risk Management – PETRONAS CHSE Division - Jan 2000 to March 2008
Responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Process Safety & HSE Risk
Management Processes for both PETRONAS and its subsidiaries. Activities comprised:
 Integrating the requirement of the Process Safety Management System, as prescribed by the US-
OSHA & EPA, RBPSM by CCPS, for the storage and processing of hazardous chemicals, with the
PETRONAS HSE-MS;

Ammonium Nitrate Production, Nitric Acid Production and the Granulation Plant. Achievement include:

Process Engineer - British Oxygen (BOC) - Jan 1993 to July 1996
Activities covered process engineering design from conceptual phase right through to final commissioning
and plant hand-over. This included, process planning, trouble shooting, commissioning, plant optimisation,
leading HAZOP studies, Value Engineering and Ergonomic studies and process modelling. Processes
covered include Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon Cryogenic ASU’s, Oxygen VSA – first Pilot Facility, Hydrogen
and Acetylene Units and the design of long distance transmission network of pipelines for gaseous oxygen
