The open minor course of Geography of India provides an insight into the dynamism of
physiographic divisions, climate, drainage, soils and vegetation of India along with providing
awareness about diverse resources; agriculture; industries; transport, trade and space programme of
India.

The open minor course of Geography of India deals with the human element and covers a wide range
of topics from cultural and demographic settings; settlement types and patterns; regional planning
