Please contact us for any additional information you might need on a given project. 20RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects The C-44 Reservoir and Stormwater Treatment Area is approximately 12,000 acres in size. The system includes a stormwater reservoir and a stormwater treatment area. RADISE provided Geotechnical Engineering Services including field exploration/testing and laboratory testing conducted at RADISE’s laboratory. RADISE was a subconsultant to HDR Engineering for the project. C-44 Reservoir/Discharge Canal, Spillway Structure, Martin County, Florida Herbert Hoover Dike (HHD), Rehabilitation Project Culverts 4A & 3 Replacements and Water Control Structures, Palm Beach & Hendry Counties, FL The HHD project includes the demolition of existing Culverts 4A and 3 and the reconstruction of new Structures 276 (C-4A) and 277 (C-3), placing lengths of cut-off wall at the culvert locations, placement of new cast-in-place reinforced concrete headwalls, foundations, and water control struc- tures with gates and control systems at the same locations and restoring the embankment. RADISE provided Construction Inspection and Materials Testing Services including soils testing for embankment components, structural concrete sampling and testing, asphalt monitoring and testing, vibration and turbidity monitoring as well as installation and monitoring of thermistors. RADISE was a subconsultant to Archer Western for the project.
  23. 23. 21RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects Projects Herbert Hoover Dike (HHD), Rehabilitation Project Culverts 11 & 16, Palm Beach & Martin Counties, FL This HHD Project was designed to relieve the uplifting pressure on the landside levees adjacent to Lake Okeechobee. RADISE provided Construction Inspection and Materials Testing Services including a substantial role in inspection and oversight of all earthwork tasks being performed. Services include specialized testing for the cut-off wall, and materials testing of rip rap material, soil and concrete. RADISE was a subconsultant to Harry Pepper & Associates for the project. Hillsboro Canal Bank Stabilization, Broward & Palm Beach Counties, FL For the Hillsboro Canal Bank Stabilization Project, RADISE provided Geotechnical Engineering Services including field exploration, geotechnical and slope stability analysis and materials testing at RADISE’s laboratory. Field exploration and testing included standard penetration tests, rock coring and field permeability tests. RADISE was a subconsultant to ATKINS North America, Inc for the project.
  24. 24. EAA A-1 Flow Equalization Basin The EAA A-1 FEB site is located in western Palm Beach County, Florida on land also known as the Talisman site. The project site is located west of U.S. HWY 27, north of and adjacent to STA-3/4 and east of the Holey Land Wildlife Management Tract. RADISE developed Preliminary Design Report and Final Design Report along with various Technical Memorandums for various stages of the project. RADISE also evaluated seepage underneath the water control structure foundations and, provided design of shallow foundations, sheet pile seepage cutoff walls and riprap at the channel bottoms for these structures. RADISE worked as a sub-consultant to WRSCOM- PASS for this project. 15RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects 22RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects Projects Riviera Beach Marina District South, Palm Beach County, FL The Marina District South Project involved construction of a Bicentennial Park and Marina Events Center building, a Boardwalk Promenade, new streets and sidewalks, extensive utility improvements, parking and a seawall/retaining wall along the docks. RADISE provided Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Services including laboratory testing. RADISE was also involved with providing oversight and review of multiple ESA I, ESA II, environmental drilling, asbestos and lead paint surveys. RADISE was a subconsultant to Song + Associates, Inc. and Calvin Giordano & Associates for the project. RADISE also provided geotechnical engineering support to B&C (Brown and Caldwell) for this project.

I-95/SR-9 PD&E Study from North of Becker Road to South of SR70 (Okeechobee Road) The project consists of a Project Development and Environment Study (PD&E) for I-95/SR-9 from North of Becker Road to South of SR70 (Okeechobee Road) in St. Lucie County, Florida. The total project length is approximately 13 miles and consists of adding lanes to both the northbound and southbound directions of I-95, along with associated improvements to stormwater drainage features. RADISE performed the field explorations which included 167 Auger Borings, 6 Standard Penetration Tests (SPT), and 21 Double Ring Infiltrometer Tests (DRIT). Visual classification and lab tests were performed on the samples recovered from the field explorations to assess the properties of subsoil. RADISE was a consultant to HDR Engineering, Inc. for this project. 15RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects 23RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects Projects Estates at Acqualina Towers The project includes the construction of 54/53 storey twin, top of the line condominium towers on the eastern Florida Atlantic shoreline in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. In addition to the design geotechnical engineering services, RADISE is providing full-time monitoring of the installation of over 1000, 33” and 14” diame- ter augered cast-in-place (ACIP) concrete piles including, monitoring of actual and theoretical grout volumes, recording final pile tip elevations, and completing a written inspection log for each installed pile. RADISE also provided monitoring of foundation/soil structure interaction during construction of the tower. RADISE worked with the prime contractor A3 Development, LLC on this project.
  26. 26. Parque Towers at St. Tropez The 27/30-story Parque Towers at St. Tropez Luxury High Rise Tower Projects are located in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The project includes the construction of twin, top of the line condominium towers on the eastern side of the Intra-Coastal Waterway. RADISE provided the geotechnical engineering services and full-time monitoring of the installation of over 660, 16” and 24” diameter augered cast-in-place (ACIP) concrete piles including monitoring of actual and theoretical grout volumes, recording final pile tip elevations, and completing a written inspection log for each installed pile. RADISE provided geotechnical engineering support to J. Milton & Associates Inc. for this project. 15RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects 24RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects Projects I-95/SR-9 PD&E Study from South of High Meadows Road to North of Becker Road The project consists of a Project Development and Environment Study (PD&E) for I-95/SR-9 from South of High Meadows Road to North of Becker Road in Martin and St. Lucie Counties, Florida. RADISE performed the field explorations which included 146 Auger Borings, 2 Standard Penetration Tests (SPT), and 10 Double Ring Infiltrometer Tests (DRIT). Visual classification and lab tests were performed on the samples recovered from the field explorations to assess the properties of subsoil. RADISE provided geotechnical engineering support and consultation to Stanley Consultants Inc. for this project.

East Branch Dam Cutoff Wall The proposed $154 million project consists of construction of seepage cutoff wall at the East Branch Dam consisting of a minimum 18-inch-wide continuous vertical concrete cutoff wall and permanent foundation grouting at the existing Dam. The work is located at East Branch Dam, in northwestern Pennsylvania in Elk County on the East Branch Clarion River, 7.3 river miles upstream of Johnsonburg, PA. RADISE responsibility included Concrete Mix designs quality control testing, Grout Mix designs quality control testing, concrete monitoring and testing during cutoff wall construction, Concrete aggregates source evaluation, Riprap placement inspection and field testing, Soils testing for embankment, subgrade, base course and drainage components. RADISE provided QC services to the Prime Contrac- tor, Bencor Global. 15RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects 25RADISE / Statement of Qualifications / Projects Projects Riva Tower Condominium The 27-story Riva Tower Luxury Condominium Project, located in Broward County, Florida, involves construction of a top of the line condominium on the intracoastal waterway of Fort Lauderdale. RADISE provided geotechnical engineering services that included full-time monitoring of the installation of 666, 16-inch diameter augered cast-in-place (ACIP) concrete piles. Additional, construction phase services included pile load testing, monitor- ing of actual and theoretical grout volumes, record- ing final pile tip elevations, and completing a written inspection log for each installed pile. RADISE also provided supplemental demucking inspections and laboratory testing services to obtain compressive strength results of the 2” X 2” grout specimens obtained in the field. RADISE worked with Premier RIVA, LLC. for this project.

The project will provide additional waterflow in the Everglades National Park and, Central Everglades north of the trail improving the ecologi- cal conditions and restoring balance. RADISE is providing Geotechnical Engineering support and Structural Load Testing. This includes field exploration/testing and Laboratory testing. RADISE is also undertaking the dynamic pile driving monitoring and analysis. RADISE is a consultant to Condotte America, Inc. for the project. NW 87th Avenue A new roadway has to be constructed along NW 87th Avenue. The project also requires the construction of a new bridge over the Miami River Canal. RADISE provided Geotechnical Engineering support and Dynamic Load Testing while providing pile driving services. RADISE is a consultant to Halley Engineering for the project. Hood Road This project consists of new roadway construction along Hood Road including a new bridge over Interstate 95. RADISE is involved in construction inspection and material testing. This includes field exploration, pile driving analysis on field and Laboratory testing in RADISE laboratory. It is also providing Geotechnical Engineering Support and Dynamic Load Testing. RADISE is a consultant to Palm Beach County for the project.

Plans also include building an overpass across two CSX railroad crossings and an additional overpass over the Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail to alleviate traffic congestion and improve operational efficiency of U.S. 301, which is part of the National Highway System and Florida’s Strate- gic Intermodal System (SIS). RADISE is providing Geotechnical Engineering Support and Structural Load Testing including field exploration/testing and Laboratory testing, dynam- ic pile driving monitoring and analysis. RADISE is a consultant to Superior Construction Company Southeast for the project. Wekiva Parkway - Section 6 The project requires construction of a new limited access toll roadway largely along the existing State Road 46 corridor. It also includes construction of a toll-free service road for local travel. Several wildlife bridges also have to be constructed to allow animals pass safely between Seminole State Forest and Rock Springs Run State Reserve. RADISE is involved in construction inspection and material testing. This includes field exploration, dynamic load testing, and pile driving analysis for the project. RADISE is a consultant to Superior Construction Company for the project.
